Three People Shot In Downtown Raleigh

RALEIGH - Not far from the hustle and bustle of downtown bars, shots rang out on Edenton Street on Tuesday night, injuring three people.

 

The shootings took place next to Big John’s Community Grocery located in the 900 block of Edenton Street at around 9:30pm.

 

According to the Raleigh Police Department, injured in the shootings were Lamar Rashad Kinlaw, age 19; Mikal Jajuan Jordan, age 16; and a 14-year-old male juvenile.  Police spokesman Jim Sughrue, the three victims were taken to the hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries.

 

According to a report on WRAL-TV, at least a dozen shots were fired according to witnesses.

 

Police have offered no motive in the case and according to Raleigh Police spokesman Jim Sughrue, the case is still under investigation by the department.
