RALEIGH -
The 64 year old Clapton has been named one of Rolling Stone magazine "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time"and also one of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. He also received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006 as a member of Cream.
Watching Clapton is simply watching a legend in person and his guitar performances did not disappoint.
Dressed casually in blue jeans and a black shirt, Clapton sported long hair and his now trademark glasses, Clapton seemed at ease in front of the crowd.
Opening for Clapton was fellow 66 year old British rocker Roger Daltrey of The Who, who also put on a great show.
Both rock and roll artists are still going strong after all these years, much to the delight of audiences who can’t help but feel that artists like Clapton and Daltrey are already legends in their own time.
