Raleigh Yoga Group Raises $6,500 For Haiti Relief

RALEIGH -
The Blue Lotus Yoga & Movement Arts in downtown Raleigh raised $6,500 for MercyCorps’
Haiti disaster relief fund when it held a yoga-
"We are so grateful for the incredible yoga community here,” said Jill Sockman, studio owner and director. “That a little yoga studio in downtown Raleigh can raise so much money in three days says a great deal about the people who practice here. We are so fortunate.”
The weekend featured 11 yoga classes by-
Donations were also accepted online at a dedicated Blue Lotus website set up through MercyCorps.
Established in 2007, blue lotus is downtown Raleigh’s yoga & movement arts studio, offering a range of classes for all levels of students.
