RALEIGH - During the Raleigh First Night New Year’s Eve celebration, we had the chance to conduct a short interview with Bren Bataclan, a well-known artist who travels around the world, giving away his paintings in an effort to make people smile.  In our interview, we talk with Bren about his unique characters, his recent work with Raleigh school children, how people react when they see his paintings, and more.

Interview With Smiling Artist Bren Bataclan

Bren recently worked with Raleigh school children to come up with their own works of art based on his characters that fit together like puzzle pieces.  The students worked on their own tiles but also had to work together with other students to make sure the tiles fit together .
